Dr. van Eeden is registered as a General Practitioner with the Irish Medical Council – IMC Nr: 122373. Dr. van Eeden qualified with a MBChB medical degree from the University of Pretoria as well as a BMedSci Medical Research degree from the same University. Dr van Eeden started his medical career in South Africa working in a mission Hospital in rural South Africa from 1987. This allowed him to gain vast experience in all disciplines of General and Emergency Medicine. Dr. van Eeden practiced General and Emergency Medicine with a special interest in Dermatology, Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine. Dr. van Eeden trained in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Medicine in a number of Centres of Excellence in the USA, U.K, France, Switzerland, Belgium and Brasil. Dr. van Eeden completed training in the Obagi Skin Restoration Institute as a fellow of Dr. Zein Obagi in 2012 and was elected a member of the Obagi International Skin Restoration Faculty in February 2014. Dr. van Eeden qualified as a Physician Hair Restoration Surgeon and furthered his studies and specialised in FUE Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. van Eeden became the first Irish Doctor to pass the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery examinations in January 2013. Dr. van Eeden became only one of eight Diplomate of the ABHRS / IBHRS qualified HR Surgeons in Europe. Dr. van Eeden is contracted as the Medical Director of the Malahide Medical Centre, Arte Novi Clinic, HR Institute and the MHS Clinic.
